Digital Content Specialist
$40,000 – 50,000 a year depending on experience

We are seeking a creative and experienced Digital Content Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our editorial content calendar, creating engaging content, and managing our online presence across various platforms. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who has a passion for content creation and digital marketing.
Job Duties
- Develop and execute Van Martin’s editorial content calendar in alignment with marketing strategies
- Write, design, and produce engaging content including articles, graphics, and videos
- Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Oversee the email marketing platform (Klaviyo) to create and distribute newsletters and promotional campaigns
- Maintain and update the company’s WordPress website
- Optimize and manage Google Business listings
- Focus primarily on organic content creation to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing goals and campaigns
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to adjust strategies as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Proven experience in content creation, graphic design, and video production
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for organic content
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Skills

Canvasser
$20 per hour + bonus. Average earnings = $40,000 – $60,000 per year.

We are seeking fearless and friendly people to come help build our new canvassing team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, going door-to-door in neighborhoods to engage homeowners and gain permission for our sales team to inspect their roofs. You will not need to climb or inspect roofs yourself; your primary goal is to connect homeowners with our roofing experts. Transportation from headquarters to work sites is provided.
Job Duties
- Knock on doors and introduce Van Martin Roofing services to homeowners.
- Explain the benefits of a professional roof inspection.
- Secure appointments for our sales team to inspect roofs the same day.
- Track and report your progress daily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident demeanor.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and in various weather conditions.
- Evidence of coachability and courage
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in canvassing, sales, or customer service is a plus but not required. Paid training is provided to all new Canvassers.

Field Project Manager
$45,000 – $60,000 a year

We are seeking a Team Player, who lines up with the Core Values of our company. We are looking for a continuous learner that believes in investing in people and has the grit to get things done. VM is a fast growing company committed to investing in the right people and has a “second chance” culture. The main objective of the Project Manager is to create the best possible customer experience by acting as a liaison between customers and crews. The list of job duties for a Project Manager on any given day may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Job Duties
- Assist several subcontractor crews with installs on a daily basis
- Maintain positive customer relations through on-site and phone communication (Create Raving Fans)
- Survey job site for safety risks and potential issues before and throughout the project
- Responsible for maintaining dry in status during job activity
- Follow all installation guidelines for various products, maintaining VM quality control standards
- Follow up on customer satisfaction issues and drive resolution
- Document changes to project scope, materials used, and timeline delays
- Assist with Completion Certificates when needed
- Final sweep including using a metal detector for nails and debris after installs
- Onsite presence at the completion of the install, often during the evening
- Assist with material orders for incoming projects
- Notate customer accounts in CRM software and update Excel live docs; maintaining current job statuses
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to properly set up and climb ladders, navigate sloped surfaces and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Possess basic computer skills and the ability to learn cloud-based management software, MS Office Suite, CRM, and other miscellaneous software
- Knowledge of all safety protocols for roofing and general construction
- Has prior knowledge of Roofing, Siding, and Gutter manufacturers and suppliers
- Ability to use basic roofing-related hand tools (utility knife, hammer, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of Roofing Installation Guidelines and Safety Procedures
- Bi-lingual preferred
Educational/Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Five (5) years roofing, construction, or related project management experience

Service Foreman
The main objective of the Service Foreman is to facilitate the completion of assigned projects and lead the accompanying service tech by example.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with vendors, customers, and coworkers.
- Identify and correct deficiencies to industry standards.
- Lead and train crew in a small team environment
- Complete truck and equipment inventory
- Diagnose leaks on HVAC, skylights, masonry, siding, and other potential leak sources.
Skills and Qualification Preferences

- 3+ years of full-time commercial roofing experience is preferred.
- Experience on Shingle, EPDM, TPO, PVC, Metal, Modified, BUR roof systems.

Just down the hall from Van Martin is the Arise Cafe, whose daily breakfast menu features a variety of breakfast sandwiches and wraps, including their popular steak, egg, and cheddar sandwich on a pretzel bun. Their lunch menu features a variety of sandwiches, including the Cuban with beer braised pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles with a spicy mustard. Swing by for an Arise Power Salad, house-made soup, or sides, and a hot coffee! They also have daily and weekly specials along with some sweet treats.
Basketball Courts
Do you love to hoop? The Emerge campus is a great place to use your break periods to shoot the ball around or maybe even go head-to-head with some of your coworkers and colleagues at the other second-chance employers here at Emerge.
